Mowing on steep slopes has always been difficult and a challenge for many, if not all farmers. The technological development of machinery has contributed to better working conditions on mountain farms. The goal of Agromehanika is to deliver machines that make the farmer's work easier. However, we must be aware that working on mountainous and steeper slopes is not easy and that we must always work diligently.
At Agromehanika, we advise you to choose a wide-design tractor for mowing on steeper meadows. In our production, we produce special AGT tractors which are also available in a mountain version. They are wider and give you more stability.
THE RIGHT CHOICE OF TIRES
What is a tractor without good tires? A tractor that we do not recommend for use on steep slopes, as freshly mowed grass and slightly wet terrain make work even more difficult.
At Agromehanika, we equip your tractor with special tires for a meadow or tractor profile - BALONARICE, which will enable you to mow safely and work on an incline of up to 48 °. We used an AGT 850 mountain tractor with an arch on a dry surface. You can also opt for dual tires, which equally allow you to work on larger slopes and offer greater stability.
LET'S CONSIDER WHAT WE WILL CONNECT TO THE TRACTOR!
When buying a mower that will be used on mountainous terrain, choose between front mowers of light design and use floating hydraulics. This adapts the mower to the terrain accordingly and reduces its weight by 70%. This gives you a more stable ride on steep terrain and reduces the chance of slipping.
